Designers to present latest collections in Hoi An

Estonian designer Xenia Joots and Yaly Couture brand owner Trinh Diem Quynh will display their Autumn-Winter 2015-16 Fashion collection in Hoi An city.

The collection is a reflection of the journey Quynh and Joots have taken to reach this marriage, or fusion, of backgrounds.

The collection is fusion of Western and Asian styles. The colour palette used is richer, with grey being the base for all the other colours, which is the opposite from Joots' s background.

Throughout the collection, Joots seeks to demonstrate her firm belief that the dress should always fit a woman‘s body and soul, not the other way around, along with asymmetrical cuts and playing with the form, which is a signature of her designs and style.

The fashion reflects the latest trends and traditional craftsmanship from Hoi An, with the uniqueness of Yaly's hand embroidered-handmade shoes and handbags.

The fashion journey takes consumers through different facets of the modern woman, while the colours and style, forms and backgrounds portray sophistication across men's and women's fashions.

The collection to be displayed starts with luxurious skin tones and nude palette, and flows smoothly into darker mid-tones, with the show at 358 Nguyen Duy Hieu Street running from 6pm to 9pm on August 21.

Yaly Couture was recognised as a Certificate of Excellence 2014 winner by TripAdvisor.
