Ho will assume the new role on June 1, 2023, at the start of Deloitte’s fiscal year 2024. At present, Deloitte Southeast Asia comprises over 13,000 professionals, including more than 500 partners, across its offices in the 10 ASEAN countries.
Ho's leadership appointment is part of a rigorous and comprehensive succession and nomination process, which was overseen by the Deloitte Southeast Asia Board.

Yuen is the current CEO of Deloitte Southeast Asia and chairman of Deloitte Singapore. He started his career with Deloitte in the UK and has been with Deloitte for over 38 years. On 31 May 2023, Yuen would have completed two terms as Deloitte Southeast Asia CEO, from 2016 to 2023.
The year 2016 was when Yuen became Deloitte Southeast Asia CEO, the first fiscal year the firm surpassed US$500 million in revenue. With two months to the end of this fiscal year 2023, Deloitte Southeast Asia is on track to surpass its revenue milestone of $1 billion.
Yuen led the Southeast Asia firm into the formation of Deloitte Asia Pacific, a move that has allowed for greater investment and focus on Deloitte clients in the wider Asia Pacific region.
“Ho’s experience as Deloitte Southeast Asia regional managing director for consulting – a fast-growing business for Deloitte across the region – and as chief strategy & innovation officer, combined with his over 28 years as a management consultant, makes him the right leader for Deloitte Southeast Asia in this next growth phase where demand for our advisory business is strengthening. I am confident that Eugene will lead the firm to even greater success,” said Yuen. “It has been an honour and privilege to serve as Deloitte Southeast Asia CEO for the past seven years. Ho has over 28 years of management consulting experience, including the last 18 years as a Deloitte partner. His key focus areas include large-scale business transformation programmes across various sectors in Asia Pacific, in countries such as Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, the Philippines, China, Japan, India and Australia.
He is currently the Deloitte Southeast Asia's regional managing director for Consulting and Chief Strategy & Innovation Officer. Other positions he has held in Deloitte include the role of Asia Pacific and Southeast Asia Consumer Industry Leader as well as the Asia Pacific consulting chief strategy officer. Ho is a board member of the Sentosa Development Corporation, a role he has held since 2017
