CONINCO, previously known as the Institute of Mechanisation and Construction Technology Research, was founded on April 16, 1979. The company has gone through three stages of development over the course of its 45-year history, leaving a lasting impression on the construction sector.
In 1994, it renamed to the Consultant and Inspection JSC of Construction Technology and Equipment under the Ministry of Construction, underwent extensive human and organisational restructuring, adopted an innovative culture, and increased international connections to enter the consultant market.
CONINCO's shares were registered for trading on the Unlisted Public Company Market, Hanoi Stock Exchange in 2016 with the stock code CNN.
Since the change in corporate structure, the company has remained committed to comprehensive and long-term development.
CONINCO's board of directors and executive board have implemented cautious measures for people training, creating a modern work environment, and developing a professional and adaptable management system. These approaches have enabled significant increases in output and business operations.
Over the course of nearly 20 years as a joint-stock company, the company has seen a 1,060 per cent rise in employment, a 667 per cent increase in equity capital, a 662 per cent increase in revenue, a 482 per cent increase in state budget contributions, and a 717 per cent increase in pre-tax profits.

The company has had a profound and long-lasting impact on every part of the S-shaped region during the last four decades, with nationally significant projects in various sectors. These include hydroelectric power, irrigation, agriculture, civil engineering, technical infrastructure, transportation, and energy.
Notable projects include the My Dinh National Stadium, the National Convention Centre, the new National Assembly House and Ba Dinh Conference Hall, Hoang Van Thu Bridge in Haiphong, the road tunnel through Ca Pass, the Military Hospital 108, and the Mui Dinh wind power plant.
The opening of the CONINCO Tower headquarters in 2019 was a significant milestone for the company, serving as a proud emblem for the company.

In the coming years, the Board of Directors will continue to focus on consulting in the construction of national key projects such as Long Thanh Airport, high-speed road networks, high-speed railways, and urban railways, as well as expanding overseas consulting initiatives.
Furthermore, efforts will be made to increase investment in science, technology, and social welfare to raise the CONINCO brand to worldwide standards and contribute to Vietnam's long-term development.
