Strong and capable startups boost recruitment activities in Vietnam |
The information was revealed in the report titled “Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) – New recruitment trend in Vietnam” by recruitment group Navigos Group. RPO is when a company transfers all or part of its permanent recruitment to an external provider. This trend is gaining momentum in Vietnam.
Gaku Echizenya, CEO of Navigos Group shared that a large number of new staff are required in big companies and startups with enormous financial potential, particularly those in IT, insurance, and banking. These are also fast-growing businesses.
In the context of COVID-19 having great impacts on business operations, enterprises have chosen RPO as a cost-effective solution as they do not need to maintain a separate recruitment team for these mass recruitment projects.
According to Navigos Search, startups are now competing with each other to attract talents. Therefore, these startups are currently focusing on building their employer brands to attract candidates.
Recently, overseas startups have been interested in using RPO when seeking for large numbers of candidates. These are also startups with good financial potential and offices in Vietnam. Startups looking for Vietnamese candidates opens up a lot of good opportunities for career development.
Echizenya said that COVID-19 has had great impacts on business activities as well as on human resources for businesses around the world, including Vietnam. However, despite this crisis, the world has witnessed growth in RPO services.
The global market saw revenue of this business in 2020 reaching $5.8 billion and is estimated to reach $14.4 billion by 2027, according to Absolutely Report.
