Encased in a seamless and maintenance-free case, the SM Mega Boost battery now boasts a labyrinth lid with a built-in flame arrestor to improve safety. Furthermore, the thermoplastic casing material delivers excellent safety and high recyclability, thanks to its use of innovative and eco-friendly materials.

The battery contains a protective layer that prevents the shedding of active materials to prolong service life, whilst the negative plates are encapsulated in a tough polyethylene envelope separator to prevent the possibility of a short circuit, overheating, or overcharging.
