Two bird's nest-shaped restaurants have been launched since Thursday at the newly-opened Mooc Water Springs tourism area in Quang Binh Province's Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park – a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Two bird's nest-shaped restaurants have been launched at Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park

The restaurants emulate the shape of bird's nests hanging over old tree trunks, which are common to the area, and are situated roughly 5km from the stream. Each capable of holding up to 10 people, the restaurants were built from eco-friendly local materials including bamboo and fan-palm.

Three more restaurants of this kind will be opened in June.

Le Thanh Loi, director of Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park, said some new seaside resorts would be inaugurated at the Mooc Water Springs tourism area this summer to meet the growing demands of tourists.
