Beko announces ground-breaking new healthy eating initiative in association with FC Barcelona |
Beko is the international home appliance brand of Arçelik Group and a global premium partner of FC
Barcelona. It offers product lines that include major appliances, air conditioners and small
appliances.
The campaign aims to tackle the issue by empowering and helping parents arund the globe learn more about the importance of healthy eating whilst encouraging children to emulate their FC Barcelona heroes and ‘Eat Like A Pro.’
Ella Mills, AKA Deliciously Ella, and FC Barcelona football legend Patrick Kluivert joined Beko for the campaign announcement, showing their support and giving out handy tips on healthy living.
The full campaign will be rolled out globally from January 2018 and will engage families, schools, communities, and households around the world to rethink their food choices and ‘Eat Like A Pro.’

Our Eat Like a Pro initiative aims to make healthy food enticing to children throughout the world, helping them eat what their heroes eat. Our aim is simply to help reduce childhood obesity through prevention and education.”
The campaign also aims to grant families exclusive access to the eating habits of the team’s finest players via not only the ‘Eat Like A Pro’ recipe book, featuring exclusive recipes by FC Barcelona nutritionist Dra. Mª Antonia Lizárraga Dallo and Ella Mills, but also through the Eat Like A Pro website. Here, parents, children, and families can access a range of fun activities, healthy eating hints and tips, and recipes enabling Beko to inspire, raise awareness, and educate families on the importance of a healthy, balanced lifestyle.
Schools in a number of countries will also be offered the opportunity to get involved in the campaign via educational materials, activities, and opportunities to meet spokespeople and ambassadors.
In addition, Beko will be announcing an exciting collaboration to reach global communities to raise awareness and educate about the dangers of childhood obesity.
