Accordingly, ANZ, among other Asian corporates and banking institutions, have been recognised for executing the most effective and innovative treasury, cash management, capital and trade finance and risk management solutions in the region, by the Asset Triple A Treasury, Trade & Risk Management Awards.
“We are pleased to be recognised for our efforts to support customers with trade and capital flows in the region through our extensive network of trade specialists combined with strong local insights,” said head of Transaction Banking at ANZ Greater Mekong Region Aseem Goyal.
According to Goyal, Vietnam is playing an increasing role as the manufacturing hub of South East Asia, in turn attracting record breaking foreign investment. “Therefore we continue to see significant opportunity in this important market.”

This year, ANZ was also recognised by The Asset for its Transaction Banking capabilities in Australia. ANZ picked up eight awards for Australia: Best in Treasury and Working Capital for multinational companies and limited liability companies (MNCs/LLCs), Best Service Provider for Cash Management, E-Solutions, Liquidity Management, Supply Chain, Transaction Banking, as well as Best Supply Chain Solution and Best Trade Finance Solution in Australia.
ANZ was one of the first foreign banks in Vietnam when it opened in 1993. The bank was named “Best Trade Finance Bank in Vietnam” in The Asset Triple A Treasury, Trade and Risk Management Awards 2015 and 2016.
ANZ was also named “Best Trade Finance Bank in Vietnam” in the World’s Best Trade Finance Providers Awards 2016 by Global Finance magazine. Also in 2016, ANZ was recognised as “Product Innovator” in transaction services in Greater Mekong by Global Finance magazine.
ANZ has been ranked “Best Foreign FX Provider” in Vietnam for five consecutive years (2012- 2016) by Asiamoney magazine.
