Lying 2,979m above the sea, Ta Chi Nhu which belongs to Hoang Lien Son mountain range is one of the ten highest mountains in Vietnam.

Also called Phu Song Sung by the Thai ethnic minority group, it is an ideal place for tourists who are keen on adventurous tours. On the way to the top of the mountain, visitors have a chance to admire hills of hoa sim (purple flowers) and hoa rau muong (water spinach flowers), small streams and small bamboo forests.

However, it is quite difficult to conquer the mountain top due to the rocky and harsh terrain.
