Phan Thiet cultural activities for holidays

To mark Reunification Day on April 30 and Labor Day on May 1, Phan Thiet City’s authorities will hold numerous cultural programs.

From now until May 1, an art exhibition will take place at Po Sah Inu Towers, focusing on three themes of Cham people’s culture, Ong Hoang Temple’s relics and Phan Thiet City past and present.

And from April 29 to May 1, tourists will have a chance to enjoy Cham’s artistic programs at the tourist site, folk music shows and ethnic instruments such as Ghi-nang and Paranung drums or Saranai flute being performed.

Yesterday, a photo exhibition called ‘Binh Thuan in 20 years of renovation and development’ opened at Doi Duong Beach, featuring more than 200 photos reflecting the economy, culture and society of the province. It runs until Saturday.

The city is also opening a park at Doi Duong Beach to offer a rest area for locals and tourists. The park covers 5.6 hectares and cost VND19.7 billion. With the splendid surroundings of Doi Duong Beach, the park is designed with many small islets, rock gardens, bonsai and ornamental trees, sea poplar lines and pedestrian paths and a colorful lighting system.
