Demi Lovato to sing in Ho Chi Minh City next month
Lovato will perform at YAN Beatfest 2015, which will be organized on May 9 at Phu Tho Stadium, at 1 Lu Gia Street, District 11.
The event will be held by YAN Group, a local multimedia group which targets its products at young people.
However, it is not clear which songs the much-loved singer will be performing at the upcoming concert.
The show will feature the performances of up to 80 established and emerging Vietnamese singers.
The YAN Beatfest debuted last year and drew an audience of up to 50,000 members who rocked to the music during 12 hours on end.
Apart from music, the festival also offers a clutch of other entertainment and shopping activities.
Demetria Devonne "Demi" Lovato, 23, is an American actress, singer, and songwriter who made her debut as a child actress in “Barney & Friends” – an American television series aimed at children aged one to eight.
In 2008, Lovato was catapulted to fame in the Disney Channel television film “Camp Rock” and signed a recording contract with Hollywood Records.
Her second album, “Here We Go Again,” was released in 2009 and premiered at number one on the U.S. Billboard 200.
Its title track became her first single to break the top 20 of the Billboard Hot 100, reaching number 15.
Lovato was also a judge and mentor on the American version of the “The X Factor” reality show in 2012 and 2013.
The singer has won a number of accolades, including an MTV Video Music Award.
