In 2025, IID is the execution partner of Impact Hub, a leading global incubator of social enterprises with a network of 120 Impact Hubs worldwide, for Bayer Foundation’s Women Entrepreneur Award in Vietnam.
WEA 2025 seeks and supports women entrepreneurs who have pioneering solutions in healthcare and food security, while encouraging initiatives related to climate change.
With a mission to build an impact business ecosystem in Vietnam, IID makes efforts to build a comprehensive roadmap to support individuals and enterprises keen on social impact business, from idea creation to market access, investment, networks, and information gathering, through a global award like WEA 2025.
WEA 2025 is looking for women entrepreneurs who have pioneering solutions in healthcare and food security. Such solutions should have a clear social impact, and a plus point if they are related to climate change. The enterprise generates up to $500,000 in annual revenue. Women entrepreneurs can be a founder, co-founder, or part of the enterprise’s leadership team.
This award will support the female entrepreneurs through a €25,000 ($25,749) cash prize, a sponsored trip to the award ceremony in Europe in June 2025, an accelerated training programme within 6 months, visibility through branded communication activities globally, and access to the global Impact Hub network with 320,000 members.
The registration for the Women Empowerment Award is open from January 7 to February 18, 2025, via the website: https://bayerfoundation-wea.com/ . The award ceremony will be held in Europe in early June 2026.
