The Top 50 best listed Vietnamese companies by Forbes were selected via a rigorous evaluation process, beginning with a preliminary screening based on fundamental financial criteria, followed by scoring on factors such as revenue growth, profitability, return on equity, return on capital, and earnings per share growth from 2019 to 2023. Additionally, Forbes carefully considered each company's industry position, governance quality, and growth prospects.
Based on its audited financial report for 2023, Vietjet ranked fifth in revenue with VND58.3 trillion ($2.23 billion), marking a 45 per cent on-year increase.
While the global economy faced many challenges in the first half of 2024, Vietjet continued to record noteworthy results with total revenue exceeding VND34 trillion ($1.3 billion), up 15 per cent on-year, while pre-tax profit was over VND1.3 trillion ($50 million), up 433 per cent over the same period, exceeding the profit plan for the whole of 2024 by 21 per cent. Vietjet has also maintained a long-term credit rating of VnBBB-, among the highest among Vietnamese companies.
Vietjet has expanded its fleet and flight network, with the plan to receive an additional 10 new aircraft in 2024. The airline is committed to sustainable growth, expanding its routes across Vietnam and internationally with destinations in Australia, Japan, South Korea, China, India, Taiwan and across Southeast Asia.

In addition to its regular inclusion in Forbes Vietnam’s Top 50 listed companies, Vietjet has received several international recognitions. These include the 'Best Finance Management – Aviation' award from International Finance, a place among Airfinance Journal's Top 50 airlines for financial health, and the title of 'Best Ultra Low-Cost Airline' from AirlineRatings.
Since its initial public offering in 2017, Vietjet’s stock (ticker: VJC) has attracted interest from both domestic and international investors, supported by its consistent profitability.
