State President awarded third-class Labour Medal to FUTA

In 2021, privately-held bus company Phuong Trang Group (aka FUTA Group) had conducted numerous activities to support several localities nationwide to prevent and control the pandemic.

The “Journey to give back to the country and contribute to the community" of Phuong Trang Group started in June. Until now, the group has completed nearly 62,000 trips to support medical staff and COVID-19 patients. In which, there were more than 26,000 ambulance trips sent for F0 patients and nearly 17,000 trips used for transporting patients to quarantine areas.

In order to directly support F0 patients treated at hospitals, Phuong Trang Group has been purchasing and sending medical equipment to hospitals and medical facilities in Hanoi and dozens of provinces.

The equipment includes rapid test kits, PCR test kits, high-end ventilators, invasive ventilators, pneumatic oxygen mixing ventilators, high-flow oxygen generators, and much more.

Phuong Trang Group donated ventilators to Ho Chi Minh City

When the pandemic situation in Ho Chi Minh City was under control, Phuong Trang Group continued to assign its buses to support many other southern localities like Soc Trang, Ca Mau, Can Tho, Vung Tau, and Tien Giang.

Currently, Phuong Trang Group is donating high-flow oxygen generators, ventilators, and other medical equipment to areas with complicated disease development, including Hanoi.

Sharing about the "Journey to give back to the country and contribute to the community”, Dao Viet Anh, general director at FUTA Bus Lines JSC (a member of Phuong Trang Group), said that although the company was suffering heavy losses due to the pandemic like many other enterprises, the leaders of Phuong Trang Group constantly promoted “giving to the country” as their mission, desire, and responsibility to the country and society, along with business development.

“Facing the loss and sufferings of our compatriots during the pandemic, we have been pushed to act more decisively. We are proud and desire to contribute our mind, capabilities, materials, and resources to actualise the goals set by the Party and the government, including pandemic prevention, economic recovery, and the alleviation of the difficulties suffered by the people during the pandemic.”
