It was an honour to receive the award from the Ministry of Information and Communications, which is recognition for our continuous efforts and contribution over the past 28 years.

We started with the development of accounting software products for state agencies. Now our product portfolio expands to asset management software, salary management, management of state employees, and management systems for the education sector.

Recently, we have developed a new product about management and allocation of state budget to help increase its efficiency and transparency, as well as save on time and cost. This does not only help accountants and heads of state units, but also leaders of financial agencies and local authorities of cities and provinces, ministries, and agencies.

The platform on the management of the state budget is considered a major solution in development of digital government. To date, about 75-80 per cent of state administrative agencies use our products.

Like most, we have seen a fall in the number of customers over the pandemic era. However, we are overcoming this issue, and are determined to exploit opportunities for future development.

There remains room in the home market for digital tech companies to venture further into. How have you conquered the domestic playground, and what is next for the company?

We do not only provide top solutions for the development of a digital government, but we also have strong expertise in digital economy, providing platforms for businesses in their digital transformation journey.

For example, we have the corporate governance platform MISA AMIS, and more than 42,000 businesses use this product. This platform covers human resources, accounting finance, sales and marketing, and other corporate government aspects.

Especially, it is integrated and connected with state agencies such as tax, customs, and insurance agencies, as well as banks so as to support businesses in e-transactions.

We have developed a new platform to connect and support in bank loans for needy businesses, especially micro, small- and micro-sized enterprises (MSMEs). It was launched a few months ago and is one of our key products moving forward. We target 97 per cent of MSMEs that face difficulties in accessing bank loans.

We expect further adjustments in the legal framework, for example the amendment of the Law on Accounting towards digitalisation to further facilitate digital transformation among businesses and in the financial sector.

Going abroad is a target that many powerful Vietnamese tech groups and startups are looking for. What will your international expansion strategy look like?

We began our international market journey three years ago. We created the restaurant management product MISA Cuk Cuk, which is present in 20 countries. Notably, in Germany, we have an agent to provide the product to hundreds of top restaurants there. We plan to bring our corporate governance platform and bank loan access one to the global market in the future.

Foreign market revenues still account for a small part in our overall performance. We plan to further expand our presence of digital transformation products and solutions overseas, with Southeast Asia being the target first.

Besides this, developing products and solutions to solve problems in Vietnam is our focus at this time.
