HP delivers enterprise agility with new converged infrastructure solutions

Today, HP is making a significant announcement on its Enterprise Business portfolio that will provide enhanced levels of agility to businesses and governments: new converged infrastructure solutions, and hybrid delivery solutions that extend HP’s leadership in the Cloud.

As part of today’s announcement, HP launched several industry-first converged infrastructure offerings that simplify deployments and streamline IT delivery. They are:

Converged Systems: This is a new portfolio from HP that integrates hardware, software and services into turnkey systems. The new portfolio includes HP VirtualSystem, HP AppSystems and enhancements to the HP CloudSystem.

Converged Storage: Converged storage promises to eliminate the boundaries between Computing and Storage to make it seamless as well as between individual storage systems.  Converged Storage will speed up time-to-service delivery, increase energy efficiency and improve access for any data type or application workload.

Another key announcement that HP is making today is on Cloud. HP is extending its Cloud leadership again, this time by announcing new products and services as part of HP’s broad portfolio of Hybrid Delivery solutions. 

HP CloudSystem platform carries the industry’s first dual-bursting capability that can manage uneven demands allowing organizations to dynamically scale resources up and down depending on their requirements through a public cloud provider or through an onsite pay-as-you-go cloud model.

HP CloudAgile is a new programme that gives service providers a complete portfolio of offerings to enhance their sales reach, to accelerate cloud go-to market activities and to speed up time to revenue.
