In recent few days, public concerns have been voiced over Meritorious Artist Chanh Tin may become homeless because of large debts. The once lustrous star, once one of the most prominent actors on the Vietnamese screen, Chanh Tin has recently fallen into a difficult situation, suffering from illness and financial difficulties, incurring debt and possibly becoming homeless.
After a disastrous vegetable growing project in the central highlands province of Lam Dong and the copyright infringement case from his famous film “Dong Mau Anh Hung” or "Heroic Bloodline" in foreign markets, Chanh Tinh was forced to sell his house to pay debts. He was then sued by Phuong Nam Commercial Joint Stock Bank because the house was already put up as collateral at the bank.

Last year many people were shocked to hear that Phuoc Sang Film Studio was on the brink of bankruptcy. For a long time, apart from being a famous actor, Phuoc Sang was also well-known for being a successful talent in management and film production, earning billions of VND in revenues.
