The solutions were demonstrated at the 25th Annual Scientific Congress, hosted by the Vietnamese Society of Radiology and Nuclear Medicine.

GE HealthCare brings healthcare solutions to science congress

At the event, GE HealthCare launched the SIGNA Champion 1.5T MRI scanner and the comprehensive ultrasound solution LOGIQ Totus for the Vietnamese market. Leveraging AI to optimise support for doctors and patients, these two systems aim to enhance the examination and treatment experience for doctors, technicians, and patients.

The MRI scanner incorporates advanced technologies and AI to enhance the experience for not only patients but also clinicians and imaging technicians. Its spacious chamber, user-friendly interface, ultra-light and adaptable coils, reduced scan times with exceptional image quality, and ability to capture images in natural patient positions are key advantages of this solution.

The ultrasound system features cSound, a CT/MRI-simulated image reconstruction technology, and multiple advanced AI applications. cSound imaging technology acquires and reconstructs data in a manner similar to MRI or CT systems, creating real-time ultrasound image structures through an advanced GPU.

This GPU enhances data throughput by 48 times and processing power by 10 times compared to previous systems. Additionally, LOGIQ Totus incorporates AI applications for lesion recognition and state-of-the-art voice technology to streamline the examination process, enabling quick and simple workflows while maintaining high accuracy.

Parminder Bhatia, AI director at GE HealthCare said, "The potential for AI applications in healthcare is limitless. AI processes data 1,000 times faster than humans with extremely high consistency and accuracy. Over the next 10 years, AI combined with digital technologies, cloud computing, and more could transform clinical workflows and optimise hospital operations at a speed equivalent to the past 100 years combined."

As a Diamond Sponsor, GE HealthCare shared its comprehensive care pathway solutions for cardiology and oncology, focusing on liver care, to the congress attendees. At the congress hall, the company also showcased cutting-edge diagnostic imaging technologies and interactive demonstrations at its booth.

Son Pham, general director of GE HealthCare Vietnam said, "This congress offers a valuable opportunity for GE HealthCare to highlight our research advancements and contributions to Vietnam's healthcare system. We are dedicated to innovating and enhancing our diagnostic imaging solutions to provide accessible, personalised, and innovative medical services for patients in Vietnam and globally. By integrating leading AI technologies into our solutions, we aim to empower doctors and medical centres to optimise their workflows and elevate patient outcomes."

The congress is held annually to introduce and share insights on advanced scientific research and technologies in radiology and nuclear medicine. Through its longstanding participation, GE HealthCare has demonstrated a steadfast commitment to supporting Vietnam's healthcare system development by providing expertise and optimal solutions aligned with international standards.
