On November 9-10, CP Vietnam held an exhibition booth at the Green Vietnam Festival, held at the Youth Cultural House in Ho Chi Minh City.

The event, organised by Tuoi Tre (Youth) newspaper in collaboration with recycling alliance PRO Vietnam and other partners, aimed to support Vietnam's net-zero commitments, promote a green lifestyle within the community, and build a circular economy in Vietnam.

As a member of PRO Vietnam, C.P. Vietnam (CPV) is strongly committed to sustainable development, striving for a harmonious balance between economic growth and environmental protection, while ensuring shared benefits for society through a comprehensive approach to environmental, social, and governance principles.

Visitors had the chance to explore the company’s business initiatives while engaging in interactive activities at the booth, such as taking photos and playing minigames, with exciting prizes on offer.

Through the event, CPV aims to inspire environmental consciousness, elevate community awareness, and promote sustainable consumption practices. For CPV, reducing plastic waste is not just a corporate responsibility; it is a core mission to create long-lasting value for both society and the environment. The company remains committed to advancing eco-friendly development and contributing to the creation of a greener, more sustainable future for Vietnam.

With over 30 years of investment and development in Vietnam, CPV operates in the agri-industrial and food business following the integrated feed, farm, food model. The company invests in intelligent management systems and automation to optimise energy and resource use, minimising emissions throughout the supply chain.

Additionally, it is increasing the use of renewable energy, phasing out coal, and applying international standards in production processes to ensure that products are traceable, of the highest quality, safe, and highly nutritious for consumers, all in line with the “From Farm to Family” approach and vision to becoming the "Kitchen of the World".

At the same time, CPV is committed to building sustainable partnerships to promote responsible business practices that benefit both society and the environment, as well as advancing the circular economy to optimise resource use and reduce environmental impact.

Moreover, CPV is also a pioneer in environmental protection activities, such as implementing tree planting projects, reducing plastic waste, and minimising food waste through collaboration with stakeholders, including non-governmental organisations and government agencies. These efforts aim to raise awareness and foster a sense of responsibility among employees and the community towards the environment.

A notable example is the goal to plant 1.5 million trees, both within and outside the company. CPV has been and continues to work with partners to implement projects tailored to the specific needs of each locality, supporting the goals of provinces and contributing positively to the greening of Vietnam.
