After listening to the report presented by Minister of Finance Dinh Tien Dung, the PM hailed active achievements in price management over the first months of 2016 as having contributed to stabilizing people’s lives.

He highlighted the principles of following the market mechanism, ensuring commodity supply, monitoring price adjustment roadmap, controlling expenditures and preventing the use of administrative orders in price control.

It is vital to closely follow the situations, evaluate the effects of price adjustment and monitor the prices of essential commodities to curb inflation within the level set by the National Assembly, he said.

Regarding oil and gas prices, the Government chief asked to follow the world’s oil price, monitor expenditures and effectively use the price stabilization fund.

The PM also required taking suitable steps in controlling healthcare fees and guarantee the quality of treatment and care services.
