The festival is to honour the art of making and flying kite as one of the outstanding features of Vietnam’s traditional culture. Many activities will be held such as kite making, professional kite performance, traditional kite competition, Rokkaku kite fighting and exhibition.
Le Thanh Binh, a representative of VKHCC said that as a great playground, the festival would benefit craftsmen and kite lovers. In addition, it helps not only promote this artful game of Hanoi to domestic and international friends, but also call on young people to treasure traditional values
“The kite festival is one of lively activities to visualise the company’s objective to develop a modern and dynamic community in the south of Hanoi,” shared general director of Gamuda Land Vietnam Cheong Ho Kuan.
The festival is expected to welcome more than 1,000 domestic and international visitors.
