The first charter flight between the central city and the Thai capital seeks to boost tourism between the region and Thai destinations.
The first flight, a 180-seat Airbus A321 aircraft, left Da Nang International Airport on July 28 with 150 tourists on board.
It's scheduled to every five days.
Doan Hai Dang, Director of Viettravel's Da Nang branch, said the direct flight would help passengers from Da Nang avoid transiting in Hanoi or HCM City.
Da Nang, which is connected by 19 international routes, attracted two million tourists in the first six months this year, of whom 600,000 were foreigners, a 25 percent year-on-year rise.
