Tomorrow, VIR and AVM Vietnam will co-organise a press-conference to officially announce Vietnam M&A Forum 2018, which is scheduled to take place on August 8, 2018 at GEM Centre in Ho Chi Minh City.

Last year's Vietnam M&A Forum was a resounding success

As the tenth edition of the biggest annual economic event, Vietnam M&A Forum 2018 will welcome numerous international and Vietnamese guest speakers and 500 senior leaders of investment funds and Vietnamese and international corporations as a platform to meet and share opportunities as well as discuss investment strategies.

Additionally, the participants will be able to meet international investors from the US, Japan, South Korea, Thailand, and other ASEAN member states, as well as seek opportunities in the equitisation of state-owned enterprises (SOEs).

During the forum, an in-depth conference about M&A activities in Vietnam, titled “New Thrust, New Era” will be an highlight of the event. Besides, a series of activities will be organised, namely the Gala Dinner to celebrate the 10^th anniversary and honour the most outstanding M&A deals and advisory firms of 2017-2018 as well as a Master Class on M&A strategy to create a breakthrough in growth.

As an added boon, the Vietnam M&A Outlook 2018 Special Publication will also be published, providing quality coverage of the year’s global and domestic trends, as well as the most notable deals.

Vietnam M&A Forum has become a premier annual event among the business community as well as domestic and international investors.

Over the past nine years, Vietnam M&A Forum has attracted hundreds of speakers, leading international and local M&A experts, and thousands of senior leaders from international investment funds, international and local consultancy firms, state-run corporations, and private sector companies operating in Vietnam.
