TEKO and IPP Travel are to deploy a holistic retail model |
On February 22, IPP Travel Retail and TEKO Vietnam Technology JSC signed a cooperation agreement in Ho Chi Minh City to deploy a new generation retail model.
Understanding the changes and needs of the market, IPP Travel Retail has cooperated with TEKO to deploy a new generation of retail through numerous services, such as e-commerce solutions, omnichannel sales, and customer care services.
Besides this, the two parties also use a powerful, highly customisable, comprehensive customer relationship management (CRM) system integrated with the business platform.
Furthermore, they will take advantage of the CRM to help IPP Travel Retail understand the needs and optimise the shopping experience of each customer.
Both companies also want to apply electronic payment solutions. For instance, VNPAY's payment gateway provides a variety of safe and convenient payment methods, integrated with more than 40 banks and 13 e-wallets.
The signing ceremony for the agreement marks the long-term cooperation between TEKO and IPP Travel Retail on their digital transformation journey. The application of TEKO's technology to the sales system of IPP Travel Retail is also expected to help win the trust of consumers.
IPP Travel Retail is a strategic arm of IPP Group to conquer the consumer goods and non-aviation services industry. After 20 years, IPP Travel Retail has developed a chain of retail stores ranging from duty-free shops at international airports and duty-free supermarkets at border gates with a variety of services including fashion, souvenirs, food, and advertising.
Meanwhile, TEKO was established in 2017 as a company providing new generation retail solutions under VNLIFE group – a leading technology unicorn in Vietnam. TEKO accompanies and supports enterprises to effectively develop and expand multichannel business activities through technology solutions.
A report by Google and Temasek from last year shows that, between 2020 and 2021, the number of digital consumers rose by around eight million people. Over 70 per cent of Vietnamese internet users have placed at least one order online.
