The S-Career programme focuses on direct engagement with high school students, providing support and information to help them make informed career decisions.

Additionally, S-Career equips teachers with effective tools and methods to aid students in career planning.

The programme framework includes theoretical overviews, practical applications, and Q&A sessions, with the goal of providing comprehensive information to facilitate students in making the right career decisions.

"As a life insurance company, we are committed to providing long-term financial solutions, protecting the future of our Vietnamese customers,” said Bae Seung Jun, general director of Shinhan Life Vietnam.

“Beyond that, we are particularly interested in community activities that contribute to the development and education of children - the country's future generation. The S-Career programme is expected to help students choose careers that suit them, optimising future work efficiency and contributing to overall labour productivity and sustainable societal development."

Community activities and corporate social responsibility is one of Shinhan Life Vietnam’s top priorities.

In addition to regular activities such as providing hospital fee support for children with cancer or offering gifts and sponsoring free meals for patients and their families, the company focuses on investing in education programmes.

This aims to provide opportunities and access to knowledge for children and teenagers, promoting sustainable development.

Tran Thi Ngoc Thuy, founder and director of SIF Career said, "As an expert in career orientation and development, I believe that every individual has unique potential that, when discovered and harnessed correctly, can empower individuals to attain achievements along their career paths."

“Therefore, the S-Career programme is designed to equip high school students with knowledge and useful tools to gradually explore their potential, enabling them to make insightful career choices based on sufficient information. This basis empowers students to confidently plan feasible development paths for themselves and seek suitable career opportunities in the future."

In its first year of implementation (2024), the S-Career programme will be held in high schools across the Mekong Delta region.

In the following years, with a long-term commitment to the Vietnamese market, Shinhan Life plans to expand the programme's scale and scope to other regions nationwide.
