The title of "Typical Vietnamese Business Woman – Golden Rose Award" is conferred to Vietnamese female entrepreneurs with the highest achievements. Nguyen Ngoc My (Sylvia Nguyen), CEO of Alphanam Investment JSC, an Alphanam Group subsidiary, was the youngest "rose of the era" to be named for this award.

The awarding ceremony of the Golden Rose Award took place on December 29, 2021 in Hanoi, honouring the "roses" with remarkable achievements in business. In the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, this year's Golden Rose Awards carried a special meaning for the awarded business women. The success of Nguyen Ngoc My and other "roses" will motivate Vietnamese women to start a business or raise their voice in business.

Initiated in 2006, the Golden Rose Award honours the tireless efforts of Vietnamese women and female entrepreneurs. With objective and transparent evaluation criteria and review process, this prestigious award is highly appreciated by domestic and foreign organisations. This year's award is also of special importance, recognising and encouraging the spirit of overcoming difficulties as well as encouraging the entrepreneurship and business spirit of women.

Currently, female entrepreneurs are making great contributions to the Vietnamese economy. According to statistics of the Vietnam Association for Women Entrepreneurs (VAWE), the number of Vietnamese enterprises owned by women has increased rapidly in recent years, from 4 per cent in 2009 to 21 per cent in 2011 and now 25 per cent – the highest in Southeast Asia.

According to a report by the Agency of Enterprise Development of the Ministry of Planning and Investment, women-owned and managed businesses over the past five years have contributed about 45 per cent to GDP, generated more than 5 million jobs, and contributed nearly 50 per cent of the country's economic growth annually.

At Alphanam Group, the ratio of male and female leaders is almost equal. Female leaders hold important roles in leading the group’s subsidiaries, managing and coordinating different fields. Nguyen Ngoc My, CEO of Alphanam Investment JSC, is currently the youngest female leader of Alphanam Group and also the youngest businesswoman to receive the Golden Rose Award in 2021.

Under the witness of Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, Alphanam Group entered into a cooperation with InterContinental Hotels Group to develop tourism in Vietnam

As CEO of Alphanam Investment JSC, Nguyen Ngoc My (Sylvia Nguyen) is in charge of developing Alphanam Group’s real estate projects across the country. Despite her young age, Ngoc My has a series of impressive achievements under her belt and has made several significant contributions to the country's socioeconomic development and improving the living conditions of the labour force.

Nguyen Ngoc My plays an important role in Alphanam Group's sustainable development. Under her orchestration, the group has successfully established cooperations with large international corporations, such as Marriott International, InterContinental Hotels Group, NIDEC, TOTO, KANSAI, and FUJI Elevators.

In October 2021, during a signing ceremony held in Scotland under the witness of Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, ministers, and members of the government and the Ambassador of Vietnam at the United Kingdom, Nguyen Ngoc My represented Alphanam Group to establish a cooperation with InterContinental Hotels Group to promote tourism and hotel development in Sapa, Lao Cai, and Yen Bai provinces.

This cooperation will help promote Vietnam's cultural and natural identities and create better products and services in Vietnam's tourism industry with international standards.

Real estate development is an important pillar for Alphanam Group, with more than 50 projects and more than 5,000 hectares of land in development across the country, such as Muong Hoa Sapa Cultural Park with high-class hotel, resort, and entertainment complexes, King Palace Hanoi luxury apartments, Altara Residences Quy Nhon, Courtyard by Marriott Hotel, Four Points by Sheraton, and Altara Suites Danang.

In 2021, King Palace Hanoi and Altara Residences Quy Nhon completed the construction progress and went into operation. All of Alphanam Group's real estate projects were built with the desire to create iconic works for the country while preserving and harmonising with the cultural identity of each locality.
