With the official launch of INMERGERS, companies can now share information about their need for M&A, franchise, or agent deals. The INMERGERS database can be searched along many criteria, with an auto-matching feature, helping busineses to easily connect with ideal investors. INMERGERS also provides a reliable, free tool to evaluate bussinesses based on discounted cash flow, thereby providing useful information for buyers and sellers in the decision-making process.

The database is estimated to reduce time spent on searching for investors by a factor of 10 compared to traditional methods. This allows companies to save time, expenses, and facilitate them in approaching top-tier investors.

Nguyen Thi Phuong Thao, founder and CEO of INMERGERS shared, “As lawyers specialising in investment consultancy and M&A deals with many years of experience, we are aware of the need and pain of our clients in the M&A market. We have decided to address this with INMERGERS, the M&A startup to help them find the best-fitting partner, saving time and money for both buyers and sellers.”

The INMERGERS platform was carefully constructed over the course of a year before the official launch to connect the Vietnamese business community and international investors.

The goal of INMERGERS is to be present in at least 30 countries and conduct an IPO in Singapore by 2027.

According to Euromonitor International, Southeast Asia M&A activities are set to surge in 2021. Countries such as India, the Philippines, and Vietnam are forecast to grow rapidly at a total of 26 per cent in industries including interactive media services, distribution networks, and sustainable alternatives in packaged food.

However, there are some challenges for M&A acitivities during the pandemic such as travel restrictions and border closures. It often takes up to 3-6 months to find potential buyers, with costs reaching thousands of USD. This, coupled with other procedures like appraisal, negotiation, and legal completion, can prolong a deal up to a year. A digital platform like INMERGERS can accelerate and shorten this process, contributing to the recovery of M&A in Vietnam in the coming time.
