Hilton Hanoi Opera welcomes Nobel Laureates in series of events

Hilton Hanoi Opera announced that the hotel would be the gold sponsor and the host for a series of events in Vietnam of the “Bridges – Dialogues towards a Culture of Peace” projects by International Peace Foundation, taken place in Vietnam from November 2012 to March 2013.

“Bridges - Dialogue Towards the Culture of Peace” is a project of International Peace Foundation with the aim to bring people who won the Nobel prizes in physics, chemistry, medicine, economics and peace to Southeast Asia to build long-term bridges with the universities in the region.

Through series of meaningful events, “Bridge” has obtained many achievements in all walks of life such as: academic operation, fundraising for science research and humanitarian aid, protecting the environment, improve health care, culture exchanges, reducing violence, political advocacy, economic development and international cooperation.

In November 2012, Prof. Roger B. Myerson - 2007 Noel Laureate for Economics, Prof. Harald zur Hausen - 2008 Nobel Laureate for medicine and Prof. Douglas D. Osheroff - 1996 Nobel Laureate for Physics will be deliver their dialogues at Hilton Hanoi Opera and have media briefing, television talk show and media interview in the hotel as well.

This year, Vietnam Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung has accepted the Bridges invitation to become the host honorary chairman of “Bridges” this year and Vietnam is the host for 2012-2013 Bridges dialogues.
