The province also offers favourable policies, including tax incentives for high-tech businesses. These geographical, social, and policy advantages are the driving factors for DIGI-TEXX to expand its operations in Hau Giang.
Sharing his impressions after the province's development plan announcement, Schellenberg asserted, “The leadership of Hau Giang has a clear vision to develop the digital economy and is taking steps to realise that vision. In the future, Hau Giang will be known not only for its famous agricultural products but also as a regional technology hub.”
In addition, Schellenberg expressed a desire to collaborate with the province on digital transformation projects, emphasising that Hau Giang's digital transformation journey should be carried out by its own talented workforce.

During the conference, Dong Van Thanh, Chairman of Hau Giang People's Committee, visited DIGI-TEXX's office in the provincial IT park, ISC Hau Giang.
DIGI-TEXX's CEO Nguyen Minh Thoai presented the company's operating model and commitment to contribute to the province's digital economy and train a highly skilled IT workforce.
Thoai noted, “With the upcoming investment in Hau Giang, DIGI-TEXX aims not only to expand its operational capacity but also to help the province develop and train a skilled workforce in IT. This new generation of digital personnel will contribute to the development of the province's digital economy and digital society, providing momentum for achieving the development goals set by the provincial management.”
The occasion was graced by the presence of distinguished guests, including Tran Luu Quang, Vietnam’s Deputy Prime Minister, Martin Koerner, vice chairman of the German Business Association (GBA), and Le Quynh Anh, executive director of the GBA.
Their presence highlights the anticipation of the Vietnamese government and the international business community to the immense potential that digital transformation holds, not only for Hau Giang but also for the entire Mekong Delta region's economic and social development.
DIGI-TEXX is a German-owned business specialising in business process outsourcing and digital services in Vietnam. Established in 2003, the company is a pioneer in digitising services with over 1,200 highly skilled professionals.
The company currently operates in four locations with its headquarters in Quang Trung Software City in Ho Chi Minh City’s District 12 and three branches based in Ho Chi Minh City’s District 11, Can Tho city, and Fukuoka (Japan).
The new operation centre at ISC Hau Giang will be the company's fifth location, situated in a modern building spanning 2000 square metres that has a capacity for over 450 specialists. The facility will be equipped with sustainable technologies such as solar power, water filtration systems, and smart lighting and cooling.
