According to Tran Kim Chung, chairman of C.T Group, the move is expected to spur a new model of cooperation between universities and businesses. C.T Group will partner with Foreign Trade University to research the development of a digital banking platform for export and second home programmes in foreign markets like Japan and Singapore.
In the midst of increasing globalisation and Industry 4.0 trends, the two sides will work together to study solutions to boost exports where Vietnamese firms will sell products to foreign companies based in Vietnam. Residential property and commercial logistics areas developed by C.T Group have attracted the attention of 30 per cent of foreign customers, which is an effective way for on-spot export to attract foreign capital.
At the same time, the group will team up with the university to look into international technology transfer.
Nguyen Xuan Minh, director of Foreign Trade University – Ho Chi Minh City Campus said that, “The university offers education for several majors in line with C.T Group’s orientations such as banking, finance, accounting, auditing, logistics, and supply chain management. With a team of enthusiastic, highly qualified lecturers, the university continuously updates its knowledge and technology base to train students according to international standards.”
In addition, C.T Group also offers preferential housing policies for Foreign Trade University lecturers and students to buy apartments at its DIYAS residential project. The group also facilitates the university to join its scientific exchange programmes as well as invest in its stocks and other investment projects in both local and foreign markets. The university can also partake in some of the group’s HR training programmes, cultural exchange, sponsorship, charity and volunteer activities. Excellent students at the university can join the management trainee programme to start long-term careers. The group will not only offer professional working environment but also salary above the market average.
