Brother Vietnam opens new factory in Hai Duong

Brother Vietnam Co. Ltd officially opened its new $30 million factory on January 18 in Phuc Dien Industrial Park, Hai Duong northern province.

The factory, the fourth of Brother Vietnam, is expected to create jobs for 2,000 local workers.

Brother Vietnam is a wholly Japanese invested enterprise, producing printers, fax machines and industrial sewing machines. The company has operated for seven years in Hai Duong and is one of the largest investors in the province.

In 2012, the company produced two million units in Hai Duong, a year-on-year increase of 20 per cent.
