BAC A BANK extends big support to enterprises

Since 2020, the COVID-19 pandemic has been taking a heavy toll on the whole economy and the business community. The government has enacted a series of pro-business policies in order to implement the dual task of economic development and fighting against the pandemic.

As a result, the economy grew 2.91 per cent last year, making Vietnam one of the few nations in the world reaping positive growth with an inflation rate of 3.23 per cent on-year.

While the economy is adapting to the new normal with enterprises being challenged to renew their business and production models at lower costs, the Vietnamese banking system has been providing preferential loan packages in different forms.

BAC A BANK is one of the lenders with attractive loan packages, with the most recent one being a special package for enterprise customers with a total value of VND3 trillion ($130.43 million).

Under this programme, BAC A BANK offers a low lending rate of only 7.5 per cent a year to enterprises that seek a loan contract of fewer than six months, and 7.7 per cent a year to those with a loan contract of six months.

The programme also exempts all account service fees until June 30, 2021 within the first three months, including the fee to open accounts with nice numbers, transaction fees, domestic money transfer fees, and e-banking service fees.

The service fee incentives for the next three months include exemption from fees for paying or withdrawing cash or domestic money transfer fees at the counter or via internet banking. In addition, customers joining the programme will also receive an incentive on guarantee release fees.

The programme is applicable to all loans made from February 23 to December 31, 2021 or until the time when the whole VND3 trillion ($130.43 million) is fully disbursed.
