Two new female executives have been appointed to the Board of Directors at National Commercial Joint Stock Bank (NCB).

On July 29, NCB (HNX: NVB) held an extraordinary general shareholders’ meeting in 2021.

Specifically, with 99.9 per cent of the votes in favour, the bank has elected two new members, namely Bui Thi Thanh Huong and Truong Le Hien, to the Board of Directors for 2020-2025. Furthermore, NCB also accepted the resignation of Vu Manh Tien and Tran Hai Anh.

Bui Thi Thanh Huong, born in 1980, used to work as deputy general director of TPBank, and deputy director of finance/chief accountant at SeABank. Huong also held the role of CEO at Sun Group – one of the leading multi-industry private economic groups in Vietnam. Huong will be the chairwoman of the Board of Directors of NCB.

Meanwhile, Truong Le Hien was the former head of the Supervisory Board of Vietcombank. Hien has been working at Vietcombank for a long time and officially retired from her previous position at Vietcombank on November 1, 2020.
