Vietnam’s first nutrition bachelor course launched

Hanoi Medical University yesterday launched the first nutrition bachelor training course in Vietnam with the first enrollment of 46 students.

The course is founded based on the long-term cooperation between Hanoi Medical University, the National Institute of Nutrition and Japan’s Ajinomoto Group.

Ajinomoto will contribute financial support and advisors for the development of training curricula in line with global standards with the application of current advanced nutrition training programmes of developed countries such as Japan and Australia. The group also sponsored to build the Nutrition and Dietetics Laboratory at Hanoi Medical University.

On the launch of the first nutrition bachelor training course in Vietnam, Ajinomoto granted scholarships worth VND45 million each to 10 best students of the course’s entrance examination.

Established in 1909, Ajinomoto has been developing in a wide range of business fields such as food, bio-fine and pharmaceuticals, and health. The group’s products are now sold in more than 130 countries and territories.
