Bamboo is the central idea of the design of the UNIQLO second store in Vietnam

Reflecting the unique character and long history of the capital, UNIQLO Vincom Pham Ngoc Thach will feature collaborations with local artists and innovators, delivering a magnetic store experience for local and international visitors to the city with the very best of UNIQLO’s LifeWear products, services, creative visual merchandising, and store operations.

“We are constantly inspired by Hanoi’s unique character and long history and have created a world-class store to showcase LifeWear in harmony with the community around us. With a total retail space of almost 2,500 square metres, our first store is one of the largest UNIQLO stores in Southeast Asia. We have done our best to combine the city’s rich history and beauty with UNIQLO retail innovations that will ensure an unrivalled experience for customers,” said Osamu Ikezoe, general director and chief operating officer of UNIQLO Vietnam.

UNIQLO Pham Ngoc Thach offers a customised in-store experience to reflect the lives and likes of local people. The store will also carry the full global line-up of UNIQLO LifeWear: high quality, functional, and affordable clothing to meet the needs of everyone’s daily lifestyles.

Spring/Summer lineup

The complete line-up from the 2020 Spring/Summer collection will be available in-store, along with special collections such as Uniqlo U.

During the opening week, UNIQL0 customers can access limited offers on some items, such as AlRism UV Protection mesh hoodies, EZY ankle pants, premium linen long-sleeve shirts, and HEATTECH Extra Warm crew-neck t-shirts, and among others.

Special UT Corner and UTme! experience

UNlQLO Vincom Pham Ngoc Thach will offer its popular UT (UNlQLO t-shirt) line in a dedicated store zone that is one of only a few such UT areas found in UNlQLOstores worldwide. The zone includes Mickey Stands Vietnam, a line of special UT items limited to Vietnam. This special UT series incorporates some uniquely Vietnamese motifs, such as Mickey wearing the iconic Vietnamese cone hat, Non la. In one version, Mickey holds a lotus flower, while another shows him riding a motorbike.

UNIQLO x Vo Trong Nghia celebration of local art

UNIQLO has continued its collaboration with Vo Trong Nghia, the architect focused on green design to create a large and beautiful installation in the store. The huge original art installation is made entirely of bamboo, an iconic natural material synonymous with life in Vietnam.

UNIQLO x Tohe – a special sustainability corner called “ The Garden”

To raise awareness about plastic waste, UNIQLO has collaborated with Tohe, a social enterprise providing free art playgrounds for disadvantaged children, together creating a sustainability corner that includes a kid-installation The Garden inspired by Plastic Tree, a work by artist Passcale Marthine Tayou. The Garden presents a fresh perspective of the impacts of single-use plastic on human lives. All plastic materials in the display are used items that have been collected and cleaned. In addition, the sustainability corner features pieces of art made by local kid artists with autism.
