SPECIAL COLLABORATIONS UNIQUE TO UNIQLO VINCOM PHAM NGOC THACH

Special UT Corner and UTme! experience

UNlQLO Vincom Pham Ngoc Thach will offer its popular UT (UNlQLO t-shirt) line in a dedicated store zone that is one of only a few such UT areas found in UNlQLOstores worldwide. The zone includes Mickey Stands Vietnam, a line of special UT items limited to Vietnam. This special UT series incorporates some uniquely Vietnamese motifs, such as Mickey wearing the iconic Vietnamese cone hat, Non la. In one version, Mickey holds a lotus flower, while another shows him riding a motorbike.

UNIQLO x Vo Trong Nghia celebration of local art

UNIQLO has continued its collaboration with Vo Trong Nghia, the architect focused on green design to create a large and beautiful installation in the store. The huge original art installation is made entirely of bamboo, an iconic natural material synonymous with life in Vietnam.

UNIQLO x Tohe – a special sustainability corner called “ The Garden”

To raise awareness about plastic waste, UNIQLO has collaborated with Tohe, a social enterprise providing free art playgrounds for disadvantaged children, together creating a sustainability corner that includes a kid-installation The Garden inspired by Plastic Tree, a work by artist Passcale Marthine Tayou. The Garden presents a fresh perspective of the impacts of single-use plastic on human lives. All plastic materials in the display are used items that have been collected and cleaned. In addition, the sustainability corner features pieces of art made by local kid artists with autism.
