UL’s Building Inspection Program provides a comprehensive assessment and gap analysis of fire prevention, fire protection, and life safety and security systems in commercial, institutional, and industrial buildings. Working with Indochine Engineering Vietnam, a market-leading consultant for engineering consultancy services in a wide range of building industries, gives UL a promising opportunity to help investors, builders, and the community build a safe foundation in construction and life safety. This collaboration will work to help to ensure greater adherence and compliance with local and international requirements to help enhance overall building safety.

Some of the main services provided by UL’s Building Inspection Services in fire and life safety are occupancy classification, fire zones/compartmentation, emergency and escape lighting, illumination of other means of egress, and other important services in security and fire protection including fire pump, sprinkler, burglar alarm systems, and monitor detectors.
