Taiwan Excellence - the exclusive gold sponsor of HCMC Run 2015

Taiwan Excellence became the exclusive gold sponsor of second Ho Chi Minh City Run (HCMC Run 2015), taking place yesterday in Phu My Hung new urban area in District 7, attracted more than 5,500 people from all walks of life.

The Taiwan Excellence campaign, introducing the best and finest products of Taiwan, was established by the Bureau of Foreign Trade (BOFT) under the Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA) of Taiwan, according to Yang Kuang-Ming, vice executive director of Strategic Marketing Department belonging to Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA).

This campaign has been implemented annually by TAITRA since 1990.

This year marks the sixth consecutive year of Taiwan Excellence in Vietnam.

During the recent years, apart from successful branding of Taiwan-originated quality products, enhancing commercial and bilateral cultural activities, Taiwan Excellence campaign has been contributing positively to Vietnamese society.

“To continue that lifelong dedication, Taiwan Excellence is honoured to be the one and only gold sponsor of HCMC Run 2015,” said Mr. Tseng Hsien-Chao, director of Commercial Division under Taipei Economic & Cultural Office.

The sponsorship will be devoted for the sport talents support fund, the Ho Chi Minh City Running Association’s District 7 Sport Centre and the Ho Chi Minh City Association for the Support of the People with Disabilities and Orphans (HASPDO).

The two-day Sports and Tourism Exhibition, taking place last weekend in the same place, was a not-to-be-missed side activity at the HCMC Run 2015 to deliver memorable experiences for visitors and participating athletes.

Some activities in the programme were health consulting, music performances, sports products and hi-tech product display.

Located in the centre of the fair, Taiwan Excellence booth featured outstanding sports products from Taiwan such as Strida smart bike for little children; personal and professional running machines from Johnson; professional mini golf kit HONO; and UCHEER personal dumbbells.

In the healthcare and beauty category, Microlife delivered latest tech-products that measure blood pressure, heartbeats; Miacare delivered acne treatment products and Thermedic with Shoulder Pro-Wrap Joint Relief Heating Pad.

On display were also high-tech products from popular Taiwanese brands such as HTC, Acer and DrayTek.

On this occasion, at the Taiwan Excellence booth Taiwan Excellence’s brand ambassador in Vietnam, supermodel Thanh Hang, had a talk show with audience with mini games and meaningful gifts.

Taiwan Excellence with the tagline ‘Excellent Lifestyles’ and core values of ‘Reliable, Innovative and Worthy’ is an integrated marketing communication programme seeking to enhance the image and raise the awareness of Taiwan international brands and its dynamic industries in the global area as well as spearhead its leading brand development and promotion.
