Pebsteel celebrates 28th anniversary

Pebsteel celebrates its 28 years of service in the industry on November 14. A pioneer in bringing PEB construction technology to Vietnam and its neighbouring countries, Pebsteel has completed over 6,000 structures in more than 50 countries and territories.

Its breakthrough works include a 14-storey office building in Manila; Unilever’s highest palm oil refinery, 68-metres high, in Indonesia; the largest clear span of 128 metres for a Lufthansa's hangar in the Philippines; the longest FCB Warehouse in Thailand, with a total length exceeding 1km; and a unique curved corridor for the Okada Manila hotel and resort complex, formerly Manila Bay Resorts.

In March, Pebsteel launched its renewed brand identity with a solid vision for the upcoming stages. Amidst the ever-evolving fast-paced construction market, Pebsteel has introduced a new logo and brand tagline – Engineered Building Solutions – to reflect its aspiration of offering effective solutions for a prosperous future.

“Through the new tagline, Pebsteel demonstrates a strong commitment to providing the best-engineered spaces for every customer. Pebsteel’s new logo is inspired by a PEB structure with the highlight of a parallel development symbol whereby Pebsteel aims at corporate success staying abreast of that of its clients, partners, and staff,” said Sami Kteily, executive chairman and co-founder of Pebsteel.

As for Kteily, “change for the better” is a challenge for industries in general and for PEB in particular. Despite being a pioneer and industry leader in providing solutions for PEB and steel structures, Pebsteel does not stand apart from the challenges.

To anticipate strong growth prospects in the future, Pebsteel has released its development orientation for the period 2022-2030 thanks to the most innovative, sustainable, and cost-effective solutions.

Pebsteel will continue to invest heavily in quality research and development, digital transformation, employee empowerment, solar energy solutions, and along with growing its network of global partnerships.

Pebsteel is founded in Europe by Sami Kteily and Adib Kouteili, with two Japanese stakeholders (Nippon Steel and Okaya & Co., Ltd.). With seven major factories in Vietnam and Myanmar, Pebsteel records a total production of 100,000 MT/year and a steel inventory of 15,000 MT complying with the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) standards.

Additionally, Pebsteel has more than 1,400 experienced employees, 10 regional sales offices in six Southeast Asian countries, and a large partner network in Africa and the Middle East.
