Nestlé Vietnam's online consultation on nutrition and healthcare will be held on April 7

The programme is earmarked for a large number of consumers and more than 2,000 Nestlé Vietnam employees nationwide.

As the pandemic has greatly affected people’s life and health, Nestlé Vietnam has joined hands with the government and other stakeholders to support and contribute to reducing the burden.

Besides consultation, the programme also has an interactive session with nearly 100 attractive gifts for those who correctly answer questions from experts.

With the online consultation, Nestlé Vietnam wishes to bring useful knowledge to people so that they can take better nutritional care for themselves and their families.

Participating in the programme are two leading experts in nutrition and food safety – Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Duy Thinh, former lecturer at the Institute of Food and Technology, Hanoi University of Science and Technology and Dr. Do Thi Ngoc Diep, former director of the Ho Chi Minh City Nutrition Centre – both of whom are familiar faces in national television for their guidance and advice on nutrition and food safety for families and children.

The event will consist of two parts. The first part will feature detailed advice and instructions on nutritional care for COVID-19 patients, as well as how to supplement nutrition to quickly recover from illness and avoid long-term effects. The second part will be instructions on how to choose and prepare food safely and keep the nutritional value of food.

Besides consultation, the programme also has an interactive session with nearly 100 attractive gifts for those who correctly answer questions from experts.

“More than 70 years ago, the World Health Organization decided to choose April 7 as World Health Day to direct the world's attention to global healthcare,” said Binu Jacob, managing director of Nestlé Vietnam. “At Nestlé, the health and safety of consumers and employees is always a top priority, a guideline for what Nestlé has been and will do to bring the community a happier and healthier life for a better future.”
