Representatives of Novaland Group received the Asia Pacific Entrepreneurship Awards 2019 |
The awards ceremony, held on October 10, was attended by top businesspeople, leaders, and organisations from Vietnam and Asia, ministerial and government representatives, ambassadors, local and international media, and invited guests in celebration of Vietnam’s entrepreneurial success.
Established in 2017, the Asia Pacific Entrepreneurship Awards (APEA) recognises outstanding businesspeople and organisations across Asia for their entrepreneurial excellence.
The prestigious awards aim to connect successful entrepreneurs, heads of industry, and groups across the region in order to strengthen regional ties and growth, encouraging fair practices and greater innovation along the way.
Throughout the last 27 years, Novaland has become the leading real estate developer in Vietnam, with over 40 residential projects in key locations in Ho Chi Minh City, further expansion into other provinces and cities, and a diverse range of more than 27,000 products, serving more than 250,000 customers.
The group has now secured a large land bank covering about 4,270 hectares to develop housing projects in Ho Chi Minh City, satellite towns, and hospitality real estate projects.
In addition to effective business operations and taking good care of their employees, Novaland has also been implementing numerous activities and programmes associated with community responsibilities.
Initiatives have included building schools and bridges in remote areas such as the Mekong Delta provinces of Dong Thap and Long An; contributing to the National University Development Fund; building homes for war invalids and families to express gratitude; and cleaning up waste on project sites to protect the environment.
Over the past 13 years Novaland’s Teacher Nhe Scholarships have provided invaluable support for excellent students to overcome difficulties.
The group has also joined hands with Operation Smile in raising funds to bring smiles to children with cleft lip and cleft palate, and donating money to pay for heart and eye surgery for children in the Mekong Delta provinces.
The Clean Water for Schools programme, sponsored by Novaland and The Sponsoring Association for Poor Patients, has been installing filtering systems to provide clean, direct drinking water that meets the standards of the Pasteur Institute, and helps to protect the health of pupils and teachers in the Mekong Delta region with a serious shortage of clean water. This is a programme of profound humanity and is gradually spreading throughout the community.
With a focused approach, clear business strategy, stable land bank, solid financial structure, strict risk management, and strong legal compliance, Novaland is always striving to enhance its capacity to become a competitive Vietnamese brand in the international marketplace.
