The Best Companies to Work for in Asia Award is a prestigious international award presented annually by HR Asia to honour businesses with outstanding human resource policies, attractive remuneration packages, strong culture, and a leading working environment.
In Vietnam, the survey was conducted with the participation of nearly 650 companies and 50,000 employees, from grassroots staff members to high-level personnel such as executives and HR directors.
Themed Honouring Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, this year's HR Asia adopted the Total Engagement Assessment Model to survey the satisfaction level of Masan's employees based on three factors: Core (strategy and structure), Self (individual), and Group (collective).
As the winner of the special award category HR Asia Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, Masan is considered one of the enterprises with the most outstanding achievements in creating a diverse and inclusive workplace.
Masan is home to more than 40,000 employees coming from different backgrounds and working environments. They all share the same culture and spirit of the Masan Way: No ego - consumer-centric; Leadership - passion to be #1; Solution oriented - problem solving; Accountability - results-driven; Integrity - transparency; and Mastery - never stop learning.
Everyone has an equal opportunity to achieve their goals without discrimination or prejudice. This is reflected in HR policies that apply consistently to all employees.
Many schemes are in place to encourage employees to express their views and ideas. In particular, activities are carried out to help employees unlock their full potential. For instance, Masan has established a Training and Development Centre – Growth Centre – and implemented mentoring programmes and internal training initiatives with top-notch leaders and world-renowned schools.
Masan has been gathering a team of professional managers and international experts with extensive experience across a diverse range of business lines. Accordingly, it has diversity in its human resources and flexible talent attraction policies with the same goal of serving consumers and creating value for the Vietnamese economy, environment, and society.
Michael Hung Nguyen, deputy CEO of Masan Group shared, "The Best Companies to Work for in Asia award is really meaningful to Masan. The achievement is attributed to the leadership of the Board of Directors and the efforts of all 40,000 Masan employees on the journey to improve the material and spiritual lives of the Vietnamese people.
