Jones Lang LaSalle, global real estate advisor, has appointed Stephen Wyatt as country head.

Wyatt joined Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) at the beginning of September when he moved from Knight Frank Vietnam where he has been country head since 2010.

Wyatt will succeed David Lyons, who led JLL Vietnam for three years, has been promoted to regional director of the company’s capital markets – investment transaction business throughout the Asia Pacific region.

Chris Fossick, managing director, South East Asia at JLL said that Wyatt had an impressive and extensive track record and would focus on expanding our presence in Vietnam across all key service lines.

“I am confident he will add real value to our business in Vietnam, and will successfully lead our teams and support our clients in Vietnam, and the rest of the region,” Fossick said.

“We thank David for his leadership over the past three years and wish him well in his new role. We believe our capital markets business will benefit from his expertise as Vietnam’s real estate market starts to recover,” he added.

As one of the leading full-service commercial real estate services firms in Vietnam, JLL leases and manages a portfolio in excess of three million square feet of real estate.

The firm advises on many of the country’s iconic buildings, including Cornerstone in Hanoi and the office component at Vincom in Ho Chi Minh City.

The firm also works in project and development consultancy services and capital markets.
