Emart Go Vap opens door

Emart – the leading Korean retailer under Shinsegae group today officially opened its first Emart hypermarket in Vietnam at 366 Phan Van Tri street in Go Vap district of Ho Chi Minh City with many promotions for visitors and customers.

The launching event of Emart Go Vap hypermarket took place on the occasion of year-end shopping season. Emart Go Vap is expected to be an ideal shopping and entertaining destination not only for local and neighboring residents but also for all the citizens and tourists visiting Ho Chi Minh City.

Numerous representatives from the city officials and leaders from Shinsegae group, Korean Emart group attended the event, marking Emart’s official debut in Vietnam.



With the total investment capital of $60 million, Emart Go Vap offers a large range of high-quality items from necessity goods such as food and drink, household supplies and electrics to luxury ones such as haute couture, luggage and accessories.

Offering many attractive sales promotions up to 50 per cent with thousands of valuable prizes such as SH 150i motorbikes, Samsung televisions, Emart helmets and environment-friendly shopping bags, the launching event of Emart Go Vap has become a shopping and entertaining festival for visitors.




Not only the shopping area was bustling, the exterior area of the hypermarket was also full of visitors enthusiastically taking part in exciting activities such as darts, lucky draw and face painting.




Children coming with their parents enjoyed games for kids prepared by Emart such as drawing and sculpture painting.








Photo corner accompanied by "Happy Garden" and instant photo booth with snowfall brings a colorful fiesta right at the launching ceremony of Emart Go Vap.


Beside the entertaining area, the food corner is also an ideal destination for families and young people which offers Korea traditional foods and many other delicious and beautifully-presented Asian dishes.

The launching ceremony of Emart Go Vap not only marks the official debut of the Korean leading retailer in Vietnam but also offers a chance for cultural exchange and conveyance of values that Emart aims at.
