Cuu Long Delta to get 3 new highways

They will run between HCM City and Ca Mau, Ha Tien and Bac Lieu and Chau Doc and Soc Trang and measure 200-300km each.
While they would all contribute to the development of region, the HCM City- Ca Mau and Ha Tien- Bac Lieu highways will play an especially important role in connecting cities, international borders and ports
Besides, all national roads in the region would be upgraded, while some important provincial roads would become national roads, she said
Also by 2030 Can Tho and Phu Quoc international airports would achieve the International Civil Aviation Organization’s 4E standard while other airports would achieve 4C standard.
The Government has instructed the Ministries of Planning and Investment and Finance to mobilise funding for all these works.
