XGIMI Technology Co., Ltd. signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Nam Dinh Management Authority of Industrial Parks for the factory's development on March 20.
The factory in My Thuan Industrial Park will produce multi-functional smart projectors and laser TVs.
At the signing ceremony, Chung Ba, chairman of XGIMI Technology, asked local authorities to facilitate the completion of the project quickly. The company plans to put the factory into operation in 2024.
In the same vein, Pham Dinh Nghi, Chairman of Nam Dinh People's Committee, stated that the MoU was the first step for both sides to proceed with the investment in the locality. Nam Dinh is committed to creating favourable conditions for XGIMI to complete administrative procedures. With XGIMI's capacity and experience, the multi-functional projector and laster TV manufacturing factory will soon be operational, contributing to budget revenue.
Founded in 2013, XGIMI is based in Chengdu, southwestern China's Sichuan province. XGIMI has created a series of game-changing giant screen projection products with partners like Harman/Kardon, Google, and Texas Instruments. It is also a leading laser TV maker.
Nam Dinh is emerging as a hot spot for local and foreign investors. On March 6, Nam Dinh People's Committee organised a conference to announce provincial planning for 2021-2030 and investment promotions for 2024. At the conference, leaders of Nam Dinh province awarded investment certificates to seven investors for projects worth nearly $420 million.
On February 28, Nam Dinh Management Authority of Industrial Parks also issued an investment certificate to Crystal Denim Textiles (BVI) Limited to implement a $60 million textile and garment project at Rang Dong Textile Industrial Park.
