CADDi Vietnam introduces CADDi Drawer

The need for digital transformation for enterprises of any scale requires both speed and standardisation in manufacturing operation processes. The question is how to minimise the risk of wasting time, money, and effort during operations.

Drawing management and search software packages help enterprises make the most of their drawing data (including paper drawings), which covers dimensions, symbols and text. Such software helps reduce procurement costs for manufacturers by lowering pricing inconsistencies and consolidating suppliers for optimal sourcing.

"CADDi Vietnam hopes to help manufacturing enterprises in their digital transformation by optimising manufacturing operation processes by saving time, money, and effort," said Daisuke Takei, CEO of CADDi Vietnam.

CADDi Drawer streamlines the design process and enhances operational efficiency by referencing similar drawings and standardising operations. The platform also standardises and accelerates the procurement process by assisting purchasing specialists to identify the best suppliers with similarity search functions.

This, coupled with cost information, allows businesses to identify price inconsistencies and negotiate with suppliers based on cost logic. Along with seamlessly integrating the drawing data system to enhance CAM data utilisation, the platform proactively mitigates production-quality issues by leveraging accurate error reference information from the drawing database.
