Bayer Vietnam and Hung Vuong Hospital have signed an MoU on a strategic partnership to jointly develop and implement a wide range of schemes aimed at ensuring better access to quality obstetrics and gynaecological (OB-GYN) care for women through all phases of life, from the pre-teen to post-menopausal years.
The collaboration underlines the shared commitment and mission between Bayer Vietnam and Hung Vuong Hospital to empower women to make informed choices about their health and wellbeing, thereby contributing to the development of the community.
The scope of this collaboration includes strengthening the knowledge and clinical experience of OB-GYN professionals and increasing public awareness of gynaecological diseases and reproductive care for women.
Hoang Thi Diem Tuyet, director of Hung Vuong Hospital said, “Hung Vuong Hospital works tirelessly to strengthen healthcare standards and ensure consistent, high-quality health services for women with better patient outcomes. Through the strategic partnership with Bayer Vietnam, we can further leverage our strength and experience to address the diverse needs of women and the community in general.”
There will be a series of scientific symposiums, educational courses, and medical bulletins developed for healthcare professionals from Hung Vuong Hospital and its satellite hospitals nationwide. These events will aim to keep healthcare professionals updated with the latest research and innovations concerning women's contraception, effective treatment for endometriosis and heavy menstrual bleeding, as well as nutritional needs during pregnancy.
Additionally, both parties are committed to maintaining their existing community initiatives including the Contraception Counselling Programme for women of reproductive age; the Health Counselling Programme for endometriosis patients; and the Reproductive Healthcare Call Centre to provide round-the-clock accurate and reliable scientific information for Vietnamese women.
Ingo Brandenburg, managing director of Bayer Vietnam, said, “At Bayer, we have the fundamental belief that empowering girls and women by providing them access to quality healthcare is a cornerstone of sustainable development. We greatly appreciate the cooperation with Hung Vuong Hospital that will enable both parties to extend our reach and impact in transforming women’s health for a better and healthier world.”
