Amway Vietnam opens new office

Amway Vietnam Company Limited (Amway Vietnam) officially opened on November 10 a new business location, located at K38 Vo Thi Sau street, Bien Hoa city, the southern Dong Nai province.

This is the 9th business location of Amway Vietnam nationwide, playing an important part in Amway’s strategy to expand the business and the distribution network.

General director of Amway Vietnam How Kam Chiong said: “Dong Nai is a strategic geographic area for Amway Vietnam with great potential for development. Also, this is where our factory has been operating for the last four years. We believe that our newly opened business location in Dong Nai will contribute to our stronger growth as well as bring a higher level of convenience to our distributors and a better life to local residents.”

Amway Vietnam is a member of Amway Corporation, the world’s leading direct selling company, present in more than 80 countries and territories worldwide operating business on the retailing of Amway’s quality products that range from home care, cosmetics and beauty to wellness and nutrition. In 2010, the annual sales of Amway reached $9.2 billion. Remarkably, June 2011 marks first $1billion sales month for Amway, breaking the billion dollar mark in a single month for the first time in the company’s 52-year history since it was founded in 1959.

Officially established in Vietnam since 2008, after three years, Amway Vietnam has achieved significant successes.

In Dong Nai, Amway Vietnam has a manufacturing facility located in the Amata Industrial Park. It sits on an 8,080-square metre area with a total built up of 4,176 square metres which include a production area of 1,100 square metres and a warehousing area of 2,200 square metres.
