The training is part of the e-commerce class under the high-quality and advanced programmes for distinguished students with high academic performance of the university.
During the one-and-a-half hour training session, Epicor will be presenting students with basic information about business-to-business (B2B) transactions and how enterprise resource planning (ERP) solutions in particular, are used in multiple business functions to integrate and manage data and workflow. Students will be familiarised with detailed visual demonstrations of how different modules of Epicor ERP, including production management, project management, sales management, financial management, can be applied in daily business operation and help businesses improve productivity.

This training follows Epicor’s collaboration with Ho Chi Minh City Open University to provide its Next-Generation ERP solution for students’ curriculum in May 2013, further demonstrating Epicor’s strategic commitment to support commerce and business tertiary education in Vietnam.

In March 2014, Epicor has also become one of the newest members of Hanoi-based VECOM and the training workshops at FTU are among a range of partnership activities between Epicor and the association. Future collaboration will include business capacity workshops with VECOM members and Epicor’s support in the development of Vietnam eBusiness Index 2014.
