Wínk Hotels is a new hospitality brand emerging in Indochina that takes a bold approach to affordable luxury in the region.

Featuring unique contemporary design, the avant-garde Wink hotels are aimed at the dynamic new generation emerging throughout the region.

Designed especially for young aspirational travellers, the hotels promise an eclectic cocktail of modernity, innovation and efficiency, all underpinned by traditional Vietnamese values.

“We call this new generation ‘Indochine 2.0’,” said Peter R. Ryder, co-founder of Indochina Vanguard Hotels and CEO of Indochina Capital Corporation.

“Wink speaks to its core by representing the power and tenacity of the Vietnamese identity, by catering to their fast-paced, ever-changing lifestyles and immersing them in the cultural depths of the destination,” Ryder said.

Wink Hotels also caters to the needs of Indochine 2.0 travellers by tapping into a contemporary set of desires and expectations.

“With Wink Hotels, we want to be more than just the stylish ‘new kid on the block,’” said Bruce Musick, cofounder of Indochina Vanguard Hotels and Group CEO of Vanguard Hotels.

We want to change and disrupt the local hotel industry by challenging passe, outdated notions of hospitality, and developing a truly innovative and exciting brand that resonates with young and young-at-heart local and regional travellers,” added Musick.

“Vietnam deserves the best, and we want to bring the finest elements of the hospitality industry to this dynamic country,” said Michael Piro, co-founder of Indochina Vanguard Hotels and chief operating officer of Indochina Land.

“We will provide a consistent brand experience not only in primary markets such as Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and Danang, but also, over time, in many of Vietnam’s emerging secondary cities. Wink Hotels will have a nationwide footprint,” said Piro.

Each hotel will offer a new style of entertainment, innovative food and beverage concepts, minimalist-style guestrooms, state-of-the-art technology, and a well-equipped co-working space – a tantalising hospitality experience that will be the first of its kind in Vietnam.

The first two Wink Hotels will be located in Ho Chi Minh City and Danang.

The Ho Chi Minh City hotel is scheduled to open in the last quarter of 2019 consisting of 226 rooms while the one in Danang will have 243 keys and is scheduled to open in the first quarter of 2020.

“Indochina Capital has always been bullish on the hospitality market in Vietnam, as evidenced by The Nam Hai, Six Senses Con Dao and Hyatt Regency Danang,” said Ryder.

“The roll-out of Wínk Hotels will add to the group’s portfolio of past and present hospitality projects, introducing a novel hotel concept – Vietnam’s first international hotel brand – that will redefine traditional hospitality norms,” Ryder said.

Wínk Hotels is the first hotel product of Indochina Vanguard Hotels Pte Ltd, a joint venture established in 2016 between Indochina Capital Corporation, an innovative leader in Vietnam’s rapidly growing real estate, financial services and capital markets, and Singapore-based Vanguard Hotels Pte Ltd.
